NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State (2-2) men's tennis will host Wright State (2-2) Feb. 10 at 9 a.m. and Belmont (3-4) Feb. 11 at 10 a.m. at the Bloomington Tennis Center. Admission to all home matches is free.
The Redbirds are 2-2 in the dual season. The team earned both wins last weekend at the Bloomington Tennis Center against Toledo and UIS.
Last weekend, Christoffer Greve led the Birds in the No. 1 spot of singles. Greve earned two wins improving his overall singles record to 10-5. Redbird newcomer Pol Botifoll Rius earned his first wins with the squad going 2-0 in singles against Toledo and UIS.
In doubles, Illinois State took five of six victories victories from their opponents. The Redbirds dominated the weekend defeating Toledo, 6-1, and UIS, 7-0.
The Redbirds will be back on the road Feb. 16 and Feb. 17 for matches against UAB and George Washington at 2 p.m. in Des Moines, Iowa.
