"I'm looking forward to the opportunity for some of our athletes to be able to represent our team at this meet," said heading swimming coach Scott Cameron. "It's a great chance for us to compete against some of the best programs in the country and see how we stack up against them. It will be great to get our name out there on the national level while giving our swimmers a great experience."
Lecoeur qualified for the Zone Diving Championships against Northern Iowa on January 19, when she posted a score of 292.20 in the 1-meter dive.
"I am looking forward to seeing how Caro performs at the NCAA Zones meet, " said head diving coach Phil Hoffmann. "In this qualifying meet for NCAA's she will be tested in arguably the toughest zone in the country. The events will showcase over 50 of the best of the best, including an Olympian. I see this as an important step for her to go and see what the NCAA is about at the highest level."
