NORMAL, Ill. – First-year women's golf head coach Breanne Hall has announced her 2018 fall schedule, which includes a season-opening home tournament.
"I am looking forward to getting the season underway and am excited that our first tournament will be on our home course," said Hall. "It is a good confidence booster to start the season with a course that the returners are very familiar with. We look to build on that momentum as we progress through the remaining fall tournaments. Overall, I am pleased with the fall schedule as it will allow us to compete against several other MVC and regional teams."
The fall season opens at the Weibring Golf Club on Sept. 9 and 10, as the Redbirds host the 2018 Redbird Invitational.
A weekend later, the squad travels to Muncie, Indiana, to compete in the Cardinal Classic, hosted at the Players Club on Sept. 17 and 18.
After a weekend off, ISU travels south to Columbia, Missouri, to compete in the Johnie Imes Invitational. The three-day event runs from Oct. 1 until Oct. 3.
The MVC Preview follows two weeks later on Oct. 15 and 16, hosted at Sand Creek CC in Chesterton, Indiana.
The fall season ends on Oct. 22 and 23 when the Redbirds travel to Evansville, Indiana's Oak Meadow CC for the Charles Braun Jr. Intercollegiate.
