Redbird Trio Earn MVC Scholar-Athlete Team Honors

ST. LOUIS – Three Redbird women's golfers – Elise Fennell, Reagan Kennedy, and Dani Grace Schrock – have been named to the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete Team, announced by the MVC office on Wednesday afternoon.

Fennell, a sophomore with a 3.60 GPA in electrical engineering, led ISU in stroke average this season, at 74.9 strokes per round, and was named to the All-MVC squad following the recent MVC Championship. Her scoring average on the year is the ninth lowest in program history, while her nine rounds at or under par is tied for the eighth-most in a season and the most by a sophomore in school history. For her career, her 74.2 stroke per round average is the second-lowest in program history, while her 23 rounds at or under par is the third-best in the history of the women's golf program.

Kennedy, a junior with a 3.69 GPA in recreation and sport management, finished second on the team in stroke average, at 77.2 strokes per round. She had three rounds at or under par, with her season-low of 71 coming in the first round at the Lady Red Wolves Classic on October 13. Her season-low tournament score of 219 was at the same event, as she finished +3 and tied for 28th in the field.

Schrock, a senior with a perfect 4.0 GPA in accountancy, finished the season with a scoring average of 79.3, with two rounds where she finished at or under par. Over her career, she had seven rounds at or under par, which is the 13th-most in a career in program history, while her career scoring average of 78.19 is the 14th-best in the history of the women's golf program.

The Redbirds are coming off a seventh place finish at the 2026 Missouri Valley Conference Championship.
