KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Men's tennis wrapped up their weekend at the WMU Vredevelt Invitational in Kalamazoo Michigan. Play today included two rounds of singles to determine the 2019 All-Tournament team.
In singles action, Aleksa Lazarevic was defeated by Zac Faveri from WMU (6-4, 6-3). Diego Le Gal Perez later picked up a win against Brandon Ho from UND with a score of 6-3, 6-7, 10-7.
"We are improving, but we can also see the areas where we need to get some work done. We created some foundations to finish strong and get some more wins against quality programs," said assistant coach Mike Kianicka.
The Redbirds will continue their season with the Louisville Invitational, beginning Friday, Oct. 11, through Sunday, Oct. 13.
