NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State men's tennis team completed the second day of the Redbird Invitational Saturday at the Bloomington Tennis Center in Bloomington, Illinois.
Three flights of doubles were played on the day, with Illinois State freshman Nam Pham and partner Pol Botifoll Rius earning a victory in the White flight against Depaul's Wassenaar and Minsaas, 6-4.Â
In singles action, Pham defeated Butler's Zach Trimpe by a score of 6-1, 6-3. Botifoll also earned a win against Butler's Karr 2-6, 6-3, 10-6.Â
The Redbirds will close the tournament and their fall season on Sunday with a final round of singles.Â
