NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State men's tennis team will host Green Bay, Sunday, Feb. 16 at the Bloomington Tennis Center.
"Green Bay is a talented team and we will definitely have to play some of our better tennis of the spring," head coach Mark Klysner said. "Doubles will be key to get the right momentum going into singles."
The match is set to begin at 3 p.m. The Redbirds defeated UIS and Eastern Illinois in their last showing, bringing their dual season record to 7-3.
The pairs of wins improved the Redbirds home record to 7-1 and earned head coach Klysner his 100th win as head coach.
Green Bay is 0-4 thus far into the spring season. The team fell by Valparaiso, 1-6, and came up short to Purdue, 0-4, in their last matchups.
The Redbirds will be on the road for a match with St. Louis, Wednesday Feb. 27 at 12 p.m. in St. Louis, Missouri.
