Redbird Men’s Tennis Set To Wrap Up Fall Slate At ITA Regionals

CHICAGO, Ill. – The Illinois State men's tennis team will put a cap on its fall slate this weekend at the 2025 ITA Midwest Regional Championships hosted by DePaul.

The ITA Midwest Regional Championships will take place from October 16-20 at XS Tennis Village in Chicago. The tournament will include a minimum 64-player singles main draw and 32-team doubles main draw, with qualifying draws used to finalize the field. Singles matches begin on Thursday at 9 a.m., with two rounds of qualifying matches scheduled on the first day of competition.

The Division I Regional Championships are one of the longest-running and most successful programs administered by the ITA each year. The two singles finalists and the doubles champion from each regional will automatically qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships, set to take place at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla., Nov. 18-23, 2025.

This will be the third and final tournament of the fall for the Redbirds, who will start their dual meet season in January.
