NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State Women's Tennis team dropped a hard-fought 6-1 battle against Akron today, Feb. 28, 2019. The Redbirds are now 7-5 on the season.
The Zips struck first, securing the doubles point finishing 2-0. Junior Natalia Bravo answered for the 'Birds at the No. 4 spot, defeating Lisa Echeverry. Ultimately, Akron took the rest of the matches, resulting in a 6-1 win.
