NORMAL, Ill. – At Friday's Redbird Intrasquad meet, the Illinois State men's and women's track & field teams battled hard against one another, with the Red Team ultimately prevailing over the Black Team by a score of 142-135.
The Red Team's men propelled their team to victory, wracking-up 81 points as compared to the Black Team's 58 points. The Black Team's women gave their team a fighting chance, totaling 77 points to take down the Red Team women (61 points). At the end of the day, the Red Team was just too much to overcome, as they would go on to win the meet and the bragging rights that came along with it.
