NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State Women's Tennis team is set to play DePauw on Friday, March 8 at the Bloomington Tennis Center, with match time set for 5 p.m.
The Redbirds are 9-5 after winning both of their matches last weekend against Western Illinois and Butler. Every Redbird finished perfect last weekend, with freshman Tara Damnjanovic leading the squad, going 2-0 in singles play and 1-0 with her doubles partner Natalia Bravo.
DePauw is 2-3 on its season and is coming into Normal after falling to Butler, 6-1. The Tigers are led by senior Megan Galle earned Second Team All-Conference last season and is currently 3-3 in singles play.
As always, admission to all Illinois State tennis matches are free.
