INDIANAPOLIS – The Illinois State women's tennis team dropped a road match to Butler, 4-2, Sunday afternoon in Indianapolis.
The Redbirds (4-4) managed to capture an early lead over the Bulldogs by securing the doubles point. Senior Laura Arciniegas also scored a point for the 'Birds at the No. 4 spot, taking down Bertino 6-2, 6-2. Those would be the only wins for the Redbirds, as Butler came back to win the match by a final of 4-2.
