HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, Ark. – A stellar fall season for the Illinois State women's golf team comes to a close this weekend, as the Redbirds travel to Hot Springs, Arkansas, to compete in the 2021 Little Rock Golf Classic, hosted by the Little Rock Trojans.

Last Time Out: Behind a two-under 70 from Illinois State junior Ali Schrock, the Redbirds remained in third place for the entirety of the final round at the 2021 Coyote Creek Classic. Behind the round on Sunday, Schrock ended the tournament one stroke under par, which put her third in the individual standings.
This season:Â The Redbirds are led by a pair of golfers, each of whom has earned a MVC Golfer of the Week honor during the year, as Ali Schrock - the program's most recent recipient of the award - leads the team with a 72.9 stroke per round average. Maria Toledo Bailey averages 73.7 strokes per round, as each of the previous two golfers have a top-five finish during a tournament this year. Kehler Koss averages 75.4 strokes per round, with Kira Wolf (76.2) and Vinisha Gunaseelan (76.4) having the fifth- and sixth-lowest averages for the team this season.Â
