MADISON, Wis. – After a two-day, three-round tournament in Colorado, the Redbird men's golf team makes a short turnaround headed into the 2021 Badger Invitational for the three-rounds over three-day event.

Tournament History: In the eight years of the Ram Masters Invitational, Illinois State has been a part of the field five times overall (missing the tournament in 2013, 2014, and 2019. ISU's top finish came in the 2018 event, where the squad finished second to tournament host Colorado State. The Redbirds' top individual finish came in 2018 when David Perkins tied for sixth in the field of 96 golfers with an even-par 210.Â
Last Time Out:Â The Redbirds opened the 2021-22 season at the Hoosier Collegiate Invitational, where the squad took fourth place overall behind Cincinnati, Illinois, and Indiana. Freshman Alex McCulla - the winner of the MVC Golfer of the Week - was the team's top golfer as he finished ninth place overall. Parker Wisdom finished in a tie for 18th. Joe Hodgson (t-29th), Valentin Peugnet (t-33rd), and Felix van Dijk (t-45th) closed out the Redbird golfers.
