NORMAL, Ill. Illinois State (2-3-2; 0-0-1 in MVC) is set to take on Missouri State (5-1-3; 0-0-1 in MVC) for its second matchup of Missouri Valley Conference play tomorrow at 7 PM in Springfield, Missouri. Redbird soccer also looks to extend its unbeaten streak to five games, after two victories and two draws.

- Illinois State drew a tie with Evansville in the first round of MVC action on Friday. The Purple Aces scored an own goal to put the Redbirds up 1-0, but eventually tied the match with a goal in the second half.
- The Redbirds are currently on a four game unbeaten streak, as they picked up two victories over WIU and EIU, while tying with Oakland and Evansville.
- Haley Glover scored four goals in the game against WIU, earning her first-career MVC Player of the Week Honor. The last time a four-goal feat was accomplished, was by Rachel Tejada back in 2014.

Missouri State has five victories on the year, but began conference play with a scoreless tie against Murray State. During the preseason the Bears picked up a notable win over Oklahoma State, and another notable performance in a scoreless tie against the Oregon Ducks.

Illinois State leads the all-time series over the Bears 23-9, with eight draws in the forty times the teams have faced one another.
