COLUMBUS, OH.--- The Illinois State women's tennis team recorded one win on day two of the ITA Regionals as Silvia Pomarolli defeated Andie Weise of Marquette University in straight sets by a score of 6-3, 6-4.
Pomarolli would go on to face Tianna Rangan of the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Main Draw at No 1. singles. Lana Caculovic played a narrow three sets against Megan Heuser of the University of Illinois. Caculovic fell by a 6-3, 6-3, 6-2 mark. In doubles play, Pomarolli and Lana Calculovic advanced to the round of 32 courtesy of receiving a bye during the round of 64.

Main Draw: Pomarolli (ISU) def. Weise (MU) 6-3, 6-4
Main Draw: Heuser (Illinois) def. Caculovic (ISU) 6-3, 6-3, 6-2
Doubles:
No. 1 Pomarolli/Caculovic (ISU) advances via Bye
