ST LOUIS, MO.-- The Missouri Valley Conference announced the 2024-25 MVC Women's Tennis rankings on Wednesday, as Illinois State was picked third in the nine-team league.
ISU women's tennis returns graduate student Elena Jankulovska (Skopje, Macedonia) and juniors Lana Caculovic (Dugo Selo, Croatia), Zoe Limparis (Hinsdale, Illinois), Silvia Pomarolli (Cecina, Italy) and Nuria Sanz (Valencia, Spain).
Head coach Maja Kovacek brings three freshmen into the Redbird line-up this season in Nicole Iosio (Cordenons, Italy), Emma Lindh (Malmo, Sweden) and Sophie Marie-Lowe (Wimbledon, Great Britain).
The Redbirds will open up the 2025 spring schedule on the road this weekend as they will face nationally-ranked opponents in No. 63 Purdue (B1G) on Saturday and No. 70 Iowa on Monday.
