Indianapolis, Ind.-- The Redbird men's tennis team (3-4) fell to IU-Indy (3-3) on Friday by a score of 5-2. ISU recorded two singles wins and one doubles victory.
The Birds will return to action on Sunday in Oklahoma when they open up a double-header against New Mexico State (Conference USA) and Tulsa (American Conference) at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.Â
In singles play, junior Adrian Dibildox (Monterrey, Mexico) won in straight-sets over Noah Viste of IU-Indy at the No. 2 position. Jett Leong (Melbourne, Australia) also defeated Pumpiphat Sukkho at No. 5.
In doubles play, the pair of Tin Ostro (Zagreb, Croatia.) and Tomas Valencia (Santiago, Chile) knocked off the Jaguars No. 1 pair of Konner Gunwall and Nate Day by a 6-4 final.
