NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State baseball has been selected for a nationally televised broadcast on ESPNU for its May 8 contest with UIC, slated for 6 p.m. at Curtis Granderson Stadium in Chicago, Ill.
The selection marks the second consecutive season that the Redbirds will be featured on a nationally televised broadcast. Last season, Illinois State recorded a 14-4 win in eight innings over Evansville on ESPNU.
The Friday evening contest will open a three-game series with the Flames in Chicago. In 2025, the Redbirds claimed the series with a pair of victories over UIC in Normal.
