DAVIS, Calif. – Illinois State concluded its Spring Break trip in California on Saturday in Davis, where the Redbirds fell by a score of 5-2 to the host Aggies at the Marya Welch Tennis Center.
UC Davis secured the doubles point with wins at the top two doubles positions to take an early lead, and then won four of six singles matches to secure the victory.
The Redbirds are back in action on Friday, March 20, when they travel to the state capital to take on UIC with first serve set for 10 a.m. in Springfield.
