SCOUTING THE REDBIRDS
•   The Redbirds (6-10) snapped a five-match losing streak, with a split doubleheader win last Friday at home against UIS and Prairie State.
•   ISU competed outdoors at home for the first time this spring at the Gregory Street Courts, where the Redbirds swept both the Prairie Stars and the Pioneers by 7-0 scores.
•   The Redbirds took the doubles point in both matches and swept all 14 singles matches in straight sets.
•   Tomas Valencia has been leading the way all season for the Redbirds, with a 7-2 record this spring in singles action with wins in six of his last seven matches overall.
•   Valencia and Adrian Dibildox have also been solid at the top of the doubles lineup for the Redbirds, with wins in their last four matches.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
•   Butler (6-11) heads into the match with the Redbirds as winners of three of its last four matches.
•   Last weekend, the Bulldogs earned home wins over Bellarmine and Southern Indiana. Butler earned a hard-fought 4-3 win over Bellarmine on Friday, before rolling to a 6-1 win over USI on Saturday.
•   Butler began the match by earning the doubles point, as Rahulniket Konakanchi and Nicolas Arts took the win at No. 1 doubles with a 6-4 victory. Riccardo Baldi and Arnesh Singh secured the doubles point with a 6-2 victory at No. 2 doubles.
•   In singles action, Baldi set the tone early for Butler with a straight-set victory at No. 1 singles. Konakanchi, Arts, Siddhartha Lama, and Nicholas Balthazor followed up with straight-set victories of their own, clinching the win for the Bulldogs.
