NORMAL, Ill. - Illinois State head women's soccer coach Drew Roff announced the team's 2009 spring schedule Thursday. The Redbirds are set to play seven games, this spring, including three home games at Adelaide Street Field.
The Redbirds begin their spring schedule at Iowa Feb. 28, where they will play North Dakota State at 11 a.m. and Iowa at 1 p.m. After some time off, the Redbirds will return home to face Eastern Illinois March 28 at 10 a.m. at Adelaide Street Field.
Next, the Redbirds will once again hit the road, traveling to Indianapolis and Saint Louis. The Redbirds will play IUPUI April 4 at 5 p.m. at the Kuntz Stadium in Indianapolis. From there, the Redbirds will travel to Anheuser-Busch Soccer Park to face SIU-Edwardsville April 11 at 3 p.m.
The Redbirds will cap off the spring season at home with a three-team, round-robin tournament April 18. Illinois State is set to play Northern Illinois at 11 a.m. and Loyola at 3 p.m. at Adelaide Street Field.
