Redbird Soccer Releases Spring Schedule

NORMAL, Ill. - Illinois State head soccer coach Drew Roff announced the spring schedule for the Redbirds Friday afternoon. ISU will play a five-game slate, taking to the road for the first three contests before returning home to wrap up the spring season.

Illinois State opens the spring schedule April 2, when it travels to Iowa for a 2 p.m. game against the Hawkeyes. The Redbirds will continue their road swing with a trip to Madison, Wis., for an April 9 matchup with Wisconsin and visit DeKalb, Ill., for a contest with Northern Illinois, April 15.

To conclude the spring season, ISU will welcome in-state rivals DePaul and Illinois to Adelaide Street Field for afternoon matches on April 17 and April 22, respectively.

Illinois State finished the 2010 fall season with a 9-7-2 overall record and advanced to the semifinals of the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament for the fourth-straight year.
