NORMAL, Ill. - Head coach Drew Roff and the Illinois State soccer team will kick off the 2011 home schedule on August 19, when the Redbirds host Southeast Missouri State in a nonconference match at Adelaide Street Field. The action on the pitch is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
Members of youth soccer teams will have a free opportunity to check out this match, as the Redbird soccer team is hosting "Youth Soccer Day" in conjunction with its home opener. All youth soccer players who come to the game wearing their jerseys get free admission into the match.
