Adelaide Street Field in Process of Receiving New Playing Surface

NORMAL, Ill. - Adelaide Street Field, home to the two-time defending Missouri Valley Conference Tournament champion Illinois State soccer team, is in the process of receiving a new natural grass playing surface.

Work began last week when crews removed the old pitch. Installation of the new sod began Thursday afternoon.

The Redbirds will play 10 home matches in 2013, beginning Aug. 23 against Miami (Ohio).
