The Illinois State soccer team is set to host a Redbird Elite ID Camp at Adelaide Street Field this season on Sept. 15 and 16. The camp will be under the direction of head coach Brad Silvey and his staff, and will run from 10 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15 and 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16.
"We have all of the pieces in place to be able to provide a first-class camp experience: an incredible facility, a fantastic coaching staff, and members of our current team," said Silvey. "Within our camps, we will recreate a similar environment that is seen on a daily basis with our student-athletes – competitive, fun and educational."
Redbird Elite ID camps are designed for those that aspire to be collegiate student-athletes. These camps are open to high school aged girls, with an emphasis on holistic soccer development through technical, tactical, physical and psychological training. This camp will be capped at 28 participants to better provide individualized attention though both training and match play. Goalkeeper specific training will be provided as well. T-shirts will be given to all campers.
