The Illinois State soccer team returns home to host Evansville on Sunday, Oct. 6 for Senior Day. Kickoff at Adelaide Street Field is set for 1 p.m., but fans should plan to be in their seats 15 minutes prior for a special ceremony honoring ISU's eight seniors.

Evansville – What You Need to Know
The Purple Aces are 1-7-2 and have scored a total of six goals this season, with sophomores Emily Ormson and Emily Wolak leading the team with two goals each. Their lone win was a 2-0 shutout at Tennessee Tech on Sept. 13 and the Purple Aces have not scored in the four games since. Most recently, Evansville recorded a scoreless draw with Indiana State on Saturday to open conference season.
Junior goalkeeper Michaela Till has collected an MVC-leading 56 saves this year in 10 games played.
Redbirds vs. Purple Aces
Illinois State leads the all-time series with Evansville, 18-8-3, and have defeated the Purple Aces in 12 of their last 14 meetings. Last year, the Redbirds posted a 3-1 win on the road at Evansville.
Last Time Out
The Illinois State soccer team defeated the UNI Panthers, 5-0, in Cedar Falls, Iowa on Saturday afternoon to open MVC play on a high note. Senior Kate Del Fava recorded her fourth multi-goal game of the season with two goals in the match. Other goal scorers included juniors Alissa Ramsden, Natalie Vaughn-Low and Abby Basler. Senior goalkeeper Haley Smith picked up the win in goal for the Redbirds, posting her third shutout of the season.
Promotions
All eight of Illinois State's seniors will be honored at Sunday's home game. They are Emily Adelman, Tate Barney, Kate Del Fava, Alix McArthur, Megan McEachern, Brittany Paganucci, Haley Smith, and Mikayla Unger. Each of these seniors and their families will be recognized in a pregame ceremony, beginning approximately 15 minutes before kickoff.
Additionally, there will be a t-shirt giveaway for students while supplies last and $1 nachos available as the concession special.
