CHECKING OUT THE COMPETITION
Illinois State will face some tough competition over the next three days in West Lafayette, competing against teams from the ACC, the Big Ten and Conference USA as well as a pair of teams from the Missouri Valley Conference. The 'Birds will compete against athletes from Purdue, Louisville, Northwestern, Missouri State, McKendree, Florida International University and Indiana State (divers only).
LAST TIME IN THE POOL
The Redbirds topped both McKendree (188-108) and Maryville (245-37) in a Tri-Meet at the McKendree Metro Rec Plex last month. In route to the wins over both McKendree and Maryville, the Redbirds recorded 11 individual event wins and saw several student-athletes achieve season-best times and scores. In the pool, the 'Birds were led by the trio of Diana Walker, Sydney Hoff and Emily Keebler who all finished with two wins on the day. Freshman Eva Reyes continued to impress on the boards, picking up wins in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives at McKendree.
