Redbirds Wrap Up Regular Season with Last Chance

ISU heads to MVC next week.

CHARLESTON, Ill. — The Illinois State men's and women's track and field teams wrapped up its regular season with a last chance meet at Eastern Illinois Friday evening.

In the men's 100-meter dash, Coty Kramer led the Redbird men with a time of 11.14.  CJ Hamilton clocked a time of 1:56.71 in the men's 800-meter run to finish seventh.

Javar Cruz clocked a 400-meter hurdle time of 54.72, while Antonio Foster finished with a time of 56.66.

Chase Pavelonis and Cirron Clark both cleared 16-feet in the pole vault, giving Clark a personal-best mark of 16-00.50.  On the women's side, Julia Ott vaulted to a mark of 12-10.75.

Kyle Lombardino won the men's discus with a toss of 162-07.

The Illinois State men's and women's track and field teams will return to action May 16-18, for the Missouri Valley Conference Championships.
