Four-year letterwinner ... quarterfinalist in the U.S. Amateur Tournament in 1974 ... had the lowest stroke average in school history over his four-year tenure ... participated in three NCAA Championships ... won the 1974 Wolverine Invitational ... since graduating, he taught golf and played on the professional tour, leading the money winners during the 1977 Florida PGA Winter Tour and placing 175th on the money list for the PGA Tour.
